Today, I am going to introduce a wonderful WONDERFUL vegan nacho sauce (or dip or spread~) that I fell in love with few months ago. My love for this product is increasing everyday!
Famous Nacho Mom’s Vegan Queso is 100% vegan and made with the best ingredients possible.
How do they make it cheesy? They add nutritional yeast to their product so it tastes like cheese! I couldn’t believe it 
Nutritional yeast also has health benefits. health benefits in every bite including protein, fiber & being rich in vitamins…including the B vitamins hard to get for vegans & vegetarians. In fact, many non-vegans sprinkle nutritional yeast atop food simply for it’s health benefits!
Truthfully I don’t remember how cheese tastes like BUT this product’s texture is kind of like cheese that I see. The texture is thick and full of tomato chunks. I’ve added to chips and even between tortillas to make quesadilla. yumm!
This product doesn’t have to be only for chips. It can be used in variety of forms even for PASTA! I’ve tried this sauce with my beloved raw kelp noodles. It was a match made in heaven.
Here are some of options:
- Add veggie crumbles for Chile Con Queso dip
- Chili Cheese Veggie Dog
- Makes great Southwestern Macaroni and Cheese
- Simply top any veggie such as broccoli
- Mix with avocados for a spread or dip

- Use in a vegan version of 7 layer dip
- Atop taco shells with refried beans or veg crumbles, seasoning, veggies
- Mix with cooked rice or cooked rice and beans
- Top baked potatoes
- Cheesy tasting sauce inside your burritos
- Combine with cooked veggies for enchilada recipes
- Atop nachos with beans or refried beans, tomatoes, peppers, even sprouts and avocado,

I really really really want to try the new product that they recently came out with because it is the spicy version. As you all know, I go crazy for anything spicy

Raw Energy and Life has 100% chocolate that has become my number one chocolate at the moment.
yes, I’ve tried many many many raw chocolates out there, but this one has surpassed my expectation. The first bite was Heaven but the second and third and fourth, so on were better. MUCH better. It was rich, creamy, chocolaty. I was worried that it would taste coconutty (and I seem to have this issue with coconuts…) because of the coconut oil in the ingredient list. But nope, it didn’t have that coconut taste. I think that’s because it is coconut oil and it just makes the chocolate creamy~
This awesome chocolate is like truffle. It melts in your mouth. It is pretty rich so you won’t need much to satisfy your chocolate craving.
It also has cacao nibs around the chocolate and it gives a nice texture. Spirulina, maca, goji berries, cayenne, cinnamon, ginger~ all these superfood ingredients are included. Yet, it tastes like simple chocolate goodness. It is wonderful that you can indulge in delicious chocolate and obtain superfood benefits. It is better than 2-in-1 deal because you get MANY superfoods in one.
My hubby also got to try this wonderful chocolate and he is not vegan or raw foodist. Yet, he loved it very much.
I also had some of my college friends try them. I didn’t tell them it was raw or vegan in the beginning. They simply saw it as regular truffles and tried them. They all loved it and demanded for more (in a good way~). I told them afterward that it was raw vegan chocolate. They were pretty surprised when I told them. One of my friends, Matt, said “this chocolate taste like the Belgian truffles I tasted during my Europe Study Abroad. Makes me miss Europe home.”

Here are two recipes that Rodrigo shared with me:
Acai Bowl:
Blend together 3.5oz (or 7oz if you prefer) of acai, 4 frozen strawberries, 1 frozen banana and 4oz of your preferred juice. Blend on high until desired consistency is reached. Place content in a bowl, top with granola and fresh fruits (1/2 sliced banana, 1/2 sliced strawberry).
Acai Smoothie:
Blend together 3.5oz of acai, 4 frozen strawberries, 1 frozen banana and 6oz of your preferred milk. Blend on high until desired consistency is reached and serve on a glass.
My review: I tried the Acai Bowl (more like Acai cup, since I used cup instead of bowl, haha, but I still used a spoon to eat it) with 1 pouch of the Acai (100g), 3 frozen strawberries, 1/2 fresh banana, and unsweetened almond milk. Blended and it created thick texture of natural sweet fruity goodness. I should definitely continue trying this especially in the summer because after consuming this, I was energized throughout the day. I was glowing!
Another frozen goodie I got to try was this: Frozen Acai Sorbet!!!

This can also be used to make the awesome Acai bowl or smoothie. This is very similar to the frozen pulp product, except they added organic agave to the frozen acai berry, which means, you can just eat this straight from the carton. It is a delicious dessert!

Have you ever tried Acai Berry?
Two Leaves and a Bud is one of my favorite tea company. They have full leaf teas but also tea bags that contain full leaf. I also love their tea bags. The Sachets are so pretty and makes me feel like a princess drinking their teas, haha
This Genmaicha Matcha has roasted rice flavor along with awesome green tea aroma. The matcha, which is the green tea powder, adds a smoothness. Although the flavor was just like green tea, it had that wonderful aroma of roasted rice.
Organic Silver Needles is a white tea from China. This is very rare and the least processed. The taste is subtle and light, with honeydew melon flavor notes and floral aromas. I loved this one. It has that light floral scent mixed with slight honeydew melon taste.
Another loose tea I got to try was White Peony Tea. “White tea is made from the young, unopened bud of the tea plant, and handled gently to preserve silvery white hairs on the leaves. We think that you’ll sense the care used to harvest this tea in each cuppa’ – it’s smooth taste is matched by a soft flavor you can drink all day.”
They have so many other flavors in sachets, tea bags, that you can enjoy easily just by adding hot water.
Their products are organic and produced using the highest, fine quality ingredients. You can really tell that through the teas that just spread warmth throughout your body.
