Sorry for being MIA. I got back last week and it’s been a crazy week with school and house cleaning. School started last Thursday and it feels good to be back after a really long summer break! I enjoyed this summer since I won’t be having summer break next year or the year after that (summer school ><;).

I’m going to be putting up a lot of giveaways. Here are what’s coming in your way!

Sorry for this bad quality of picture. I am hoping I didn’t make you go blind!! This is Moroccan Cooking Spice & Rub. They are all 100% natural ingredients: sea salt, spanish paprika, saffron, garlic, ginger, cinnamon – korintji, cayenne (40,000HU), coriander, cumin, and tumeric.

I used it to make wonderful tofu dish other night. I wish I took a picture because its presentation (with a help of my sister) was really beautiful! We totally forgot to take one because we were so drawn to trying out the wonderful new dish.

I really loved the cayenne + coriander in the spice. Both of them are two of my TOP favorite spices. :)

Next is their brand new product: Ketchup! Peppery Moroccan Ketchup: Blending Mediterranean spices that reflect the diverse culinary influences of North Africa – a hint of saffron, cumin and turmeric combined with garlic and ginger – makes this ketchup sing. Glaze spare ribs, use as a grilling sauce on lamb kebabs, in your favorite sloppy joe recipe, on mac-n-cheese, or as an inspired addition to burgers and fries.

Although this ketchup has added sugar (organic cane sugar), in my opinion, it is wayyyy better than the ones that have high-fructose corn syrup.

Last one I got to try was Madras Curry Mustard, which was perfect on my roasted veggie open sandwich. I love mustard so much that I use it as “dressing” for my salads or even to cover my kelp noodles. YUM! This mustard is packed with exotic flavor, a hint of sweetness and finishes with a punch of spice. Perfect for revving up seasonal favorites like turkey or ham sandwiches and would provide a warm, flavorful twist to a shrimp stir fry, or spread on roast tenderloin before cooking.

I’ll be back with wonderful posts soon! Until then, here’s a wonderful promotion for everyone to enjoy:

Boomi bars are like larabars except with added honey. I loved the evident nuts and seeds and fruits in these bars. Truthfully they were pretty sweet for my tastebuds but I really enjoyed the crunchiness.

If you are looking for new wholesome bars to try, I recommend trying Prana bars. They are vegan and organic!

SO SORRY for short reviews for the past few days but I am trying to stay away from computer and enjoy time with friends/family. Please understand! Thank you!

I am in love with sprouted- things. I always “sprout” brown rice, beans, seeds, and nuts to get the maximum nutrition as possible. Besides sprouted- tastes so much better too! AND they take less time to cook (brown rice for example).

I used to purchase Ezekiel Sprouted products all the time until I discovered that I need some variety. Although I’m not adventurous at all and always stick with same thing or things that I like, I thought French Meadow Bakery was something that I should give a try.

I’m glad I did because their products are yummy! I loved the little Hemp Tortillas. The mini sizes were perfect for nutritious snack for pre-runs.

The bread was good too with noticeable seeds. Although I didn’t like them plain, they were good to spread yummy hummus on them.

The bagel was REALLY yummy! I toasted them (since all of them were frozen) to get myself some warm, yummy, goody-carbs and served with a plate of fresh sweet fruits.

Yoga chips are natural snack only made up of organic apple slices and spices.

You guys already know my love for apples and yep these products did not disappoint. Although some of the bags did lose that crunchiness. Perhaps because the expiration date was very close? I am not sure but I don’t recommend eating them if they are not crunchy.

I believe the whole point of eating dried fruits is for that wonderful texture. Heehee. If it’s not then I prefer to eat them fresh!

I got to try original, Apple Cinnamon, and Peach. I did not care for the caramel flavor so I passed those onto my sister, who loved them!

What dried fruit brand do you like the most?
