I love eating Whole Grains and Rudi’s Organic Bakery definitely fell in the category of WHOLESOME goodness.

100% Whole Wheat and 7 Grain with Flax were very chewy and tasty. They did not rip like some of the other brands’ breads that I found before. I loved how crispy they became in the toaster oven.

Their Bagels were absolutely delightful. They are small compared to regular bagels you find but they are also less in calories as well. At first I thought they wouldn’t be as tasty since they were small. But of course that’s why there’s the words “don’t judge by its cover”! I especially loved cinnamon raisin. They were almost identical to my beloved Ezekiel CinnamonRaisin English muffins.

These english muffins are almost as good as Ezekiel! Very dense in its texture even though it is very low in calories. I tried them toasted and also pressed as well. It results in chewy, warm, and hearty meal! The Whole Wheat variety is sweetened with agave and Multigrain has honey added.

Rudi’s offer organic, wholesome products with no funky ingredients. yay!

I wish I had more in my freezer but they are long gone now. Sadly, I cannot find these in stores near me at all. I looked everywhere but I could only find the regular breads. =’(

Kristina at Stonyfield Farm sent me wonderful coupons for Oikos. Although I cannot handle dairy daily due to stomach problems, I love creamy, protein-packed greek yogurts. Oikos is organic and offers blueberry, strawberry, honey, vanilla, and plain.

I went overboard and took MANY pictures of this wonderful thing:

I usually enjoy it plain only with cinnamon, but for picture purposes, I added raw oat crumbles. It was absolute heaven with a lot of cinnamon! ;)

How do you eat your greek yogurts?

Cedar’s provide vegan and vegetarian hummus, salsa, dips, black bean salads, tzatziki, and pita chips. There are variety of different flavors among them so check them out here.

Artichoke Spinach Hommus was very tasty with burst of artichoke pieces here and there. I didn’t find this product to be spectacular among different kinds of hummus I’ve tried so far.

I think I set my expectation too high for this Garlic flavor. Because I love garlic I thought I was going to fall in love with this one. However, I did not find this one garlic-y enough. It did not have strong garlic flavor what-so-ever. Yes, I was very disappointed. I tried it by itself and in my sandwich. It was bland and I’ll not be buying this one in the future.

I’m not sure why but even with the expiration date that was for July, this product was “BAD”! It had sour taste and smell so I ended up throwing it away. I despise throwing food away but I had no choice. It was that or stomach ache. Obviously I did not want to be sick.

Now, Tzatziki was definitely a winner. This one was full of flavor! I’ve never tried tzatziki before and I was surprised at how creamy it was. This one definitely had cucumber and garlic aroma that I fell in love with. I had to stop myself from having too much since my stomach cannot handle dairy at all. If it wasn’t for my stomach problems, you bet I would be eating this stuff every single day!

I did not try this Spinach Dip because I donated to my sister’s party at school. According to my sister, people loved it SO MUCH! ;) I also heard that people actually “fought” over the last spoonful.

Black Bean Salad was another winner with my tastebuds. It was VERY GOOD! Yes, I admit that it was on “salty” side but I think that’s because I’m not used to anything really salty. Beans were fresh and parsley added such nice flavor and aroma.

I also did not try this Pita Chips because it was donated to my sister’s party along with the Spinah Dip. This was paired nicely with the dip and people obviously loved it since only the empty bag went in the trash. ;)

Cedar’s products were yummy overall but I just wish hummus were more flavorful because I am definitely a hummus girl!

Arora Creations offer authentic Indian spice blends that are vegan, gluten free, low sodium, and nut free.

Cauliflower mix includes cumin seeds, salt, ground turmeric, ground chilies, ajowan seeds, amchur powder, and minced onions. All of them are organic except salt.
I used this with broccoli instead of cauliflower and they turned out very tasty! Although it was a little bit on the too-salty side, I still enjoyed it.

This one is Green Veggies, which can be used for asparagus, okra, or string beans. I mixed in asparagus, and string beans with the spice. Then at the end, I top the whole creation with sliced cucumbers. It created a wonderful salad! With these spices, you don’t need salad dressings. (Although I never use dressings in the first place.)

The Chickpeas spice is made up or roasted cumin, amchur powder, roasted coriander, black salt, ground chilies, salt, ground mustard seeds, black peppers, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and black cardamom. This one was my favorite and it went so well with fresh red leaf lettuce and spinach.

The last product I tried was Kidney Beans. Sadly I did not have kidney beans so instead I used mixture of black beans and black eyed peas.

I found these spices a little bit similar in its taste. Next time, I’m going to use less because I created a bit too-salty dishes. Nevertheless, these products offer a great way to make veggies TASTY! With spices that offer great health benefits, I don’t think any dishes could go wrong.

Are there anyone interested in bars-exchange?

I bought about 5 boxes of Clif Nectar Cacao Dark Chocolate Walnut when I heard that they weren’t going to sell them anymore. But it turns out that 5 is TOO MANY. This bar is one of my favorite but I have so many that it’s becoming quite a burden. I also have OTHER bars too of course.

So if anyone is interested in exchanging bars, please let me know. (junghwa-chung[at]hotmail.com)

FYI, I’d love to try Nakd (I’m actually exchanging some bars with Natalie!) or any other RAW vegan bars out there.
